This technically oriented working session investigates the computer room cooling efficiency
gains from fully utilizing the newly released ASHRAE-recommended environmental temperature / dew point
guidelines. Both the temperature range and moisture content ranges have been expanded and/or changed. The
new guidelines are explained, as well as the influence of fully utilizing the temperature and moisture content
ranges. Increases in efficiency and energy savings are presented.
